eels {eastern experimental listening service} is an on-demand broadcast service and audio magazine based in east anglia.
We offer a platform for regular and one-off broadcasts of aural cultural production. As eels themselves are drawn back to the Sargasso Sea, the eastern experimental listening service is particularly interested in work that originates from or responds to the region of east anglia, with a view to expand to a broader orbit as the platform grows.

Our remit is wide-ranging and encouraging of experimental and hybrid broadcasting formats which can include but are not limited to: radio documentary, narrative forms, storytelling, audio collage, field recordings, composition, sound art, expanded reading and writing, discussion, experimental soundscape.
